We provide a holistic approach towards understanding the nuances of Video editing – from understanding components of video, understanding lighting, Audio, Effects and even creating motion graphics. Each session is followed with practical assignments that makes sure each concept is ingrained and understood thoroughly.

Session 1 Film Appreciation (Live on Zoom – 1.5 hours)
We begin with understanding the kind of content we want to create, through film appreciation of camera angles and movements,
Session 2 Breakdown into Layers (Live on Zoom – 1.5 hours)
Then we learn the breakdown of the different components of the videos. (of your choice or specification.
We also understand the various camera angles and how they are uniquely significant in terms of different rules of framing and editing.
Session 3 Lighting and software affiliation (Live on Zoom – 1.5 hours)
- Understand Lighting techniques

- Customising the keyboard and interface
- Importing and organising your assets

Session 4 – 5 Software Tools (Live on Zoom – 1.5 hours)
We do a basic introduction of the software where you get well abreast with the tools and learn how things are layered onto the timeline.
- Moving and swapping clips
- Using the Trim tools
- Using markers for organisation- using all tools
Session 6 Starting to Edit (Live on Zoom – 1.5 hours)
- Editing video
- Working with stills
- Transitions
- Blending effects
We learn to take the right call by studying the different types of Audio and Video treatments and formats done in terms of using transitional frames to understand the language of continuous communication.
Session 7 Audio Significance (Live on Zoom – 1.5 hours)
- Editing audio
- Learning the nuances of recording good quality audio.
- Learning to Sync audio.
- Audio cleaning and levelling
- Learn to edit, crop, scale, add, move stills and footage
Session 8 Adding effect filters (Live on Zoom – 1.5 hours)
We start by making talking head (or your specific genre) of videos more impactful by interspersing footage.

- understanding different rules of combining clips,
- using cinematography productively
Session 9 – 10 Motion Graphics (Live on Zoom – 1.5 hours)
- Understanding type and graphic tools to make supers and interesting graphics on screen
- Learning to custom animate them
- Making intro and outro animations with finesse
Session 11 – 12 Colour & Matching (Live on Zoom – 1.5 hours)
- Correcting colour and matching colour
- Grading the entire sequence
- Learning to export in different output formats for best results based on web

Please keep in mind the Class by class regime is planned for the ease of understanding. We strongly advice the student to take their own pace at learning to progress holistically. Practical Assessment after every class needs to be submitted at the beginning of the next class.
What is different about this course than other online courses?
All our courses are offered in one-on-one mentorship model. You will be personally guided through the course by the mentor. The mandatory practical assignments ensure hands-on training along with in-depth learning of the concepts.
What are the must-haves to attend this course?
The minimum requirement to join this course is curious mind and enthusiastic attitude. Student must have a laptop/desktop with the preferred software installed.
Is the course in Hindi or English?
The course material is in English. During the session, the language can be either depending on your preference.
Do I get a certificate after finishing the course?
Yes, you will be provided with a graded certificate registered with the basis your final assessment .
What if I am unable to attend the class on the day I have booked for?
We will accommodate you in subsequent class and keep you informed of the dates. This is allowed ONCE.
Is it possible to extend the submission date for assignment?
Yes. During the course, you are allowed to take an extension on an assignment only ONCE. You will need to give notice atleast a week in advance. Please email us your reasons at mudart.connect@gmail.com. After validating the reason, an extension will be provided for only a WEEK.
You can share the program fee with upto 3 more attendees. In that case, notify us to learn if there are more like you waiting for the same course.
