Birding Expertise Program
The birding expertise program is designed for all the lovers of the wild, who wish to explore and expand your skills in Bird Photography. From Clicking to Colouring, the aim of the program is to inculcate or up skill your passion in Bird Photography and indulge in all of its varied technical and observational aspects. Starting with the online orientation session, you will gain a deep insight into the art of birding, understand where to stand & how to observe. You will then get to use your acquired skills during practical sessions all the while maintaining the right attitude towards bird photography. Followed by an online session where you learn to enhance the colours and pattern of various birds you shoot through a colouring class on Lightroom.
If you are new to Bird Photography, we show you the right direction to inculcate this art and set the right attitude to explore your passion! We also provide optional lens support with 150-600 mm f/5-6.3 Telephoto Lens which is available for those who wish to use it.
Important – We only travel with a maximum of four birders at a time to ensure dedicated learning, Covid safety and to maintain the sanctity of the wild.

- Role of Aperture and Shutter speed
- Understanding Angles and heights of Sun affecting photography
- How to use background productively, Framing and Composition rules
- Getting Affiliated with Gears and Accessories used in Bird Photogaphy.

- Getting Set for the Practical Sessions
SESSION II (Outdoor Practical)
- Understanding the attitude towards the bird biosphere, Learning about different birds and their rarity.
- Execution of all the learnt Techniques in exposure, lighting and perspective
- 3 hour Practical Session with Lens, and Accessories support
- Activity or assignment based on understanding
SESSION III (Outdoor Practical)
- Execution on the basis of Perspectives wrt Background, Framing & Composition
- 3 hour Practical Session with Lens support
- Activity or assignment based on understanding
SESSION IV (Color Correction on Lightroom)
- Learning Colouring and Grading on Lightroom
- Learn the most important tools used in Bird Photography Editing
- How to Bring out Detail in Bird Photographs
- How to bring out Colour in Bird Photographs
- How to work with the background as well as selection tools to make the subject Pop Out
- Activity or assignment based on understanding
- Lifetime Mentor-ship on queries on the Group and Mudart Forum
Attendees will be provided a Certificate of Completion after finishing the program.
What is different about this course than other online courses?
All our courses are offered in one-on-one mentorship model. You will be personally guided through the course by the mentor.
What are the must-haves to attend this course?
The minimum requirement to join this course is a curious mind and an enthusiastic attitude. Attendee must have a DSLR camera with basic training in Manual mode. In case of camera or lens requirement, please reach out to the team in advance so we can arrange for you on rent.
Is the course in Hindi or English?
The course material is in English. During the session, the language can be either English or Hindi depending on your preference.
Do I get a certificate after finishing the course?
Yes, you will be provided with a certificate of completion once you attend all the sessions.
What if I am unable to attend the class on the day I have booked for?
We will accommodate you in subsequent class and keep you informed of the dates. This is allowed ONCE.
What are the expenses outside of Course fee?
The program fee does not include travel, stay and meals to the chosen destination.
